{Always be prepared....}

In case any of y'all are wondering.... the lethargy attack I was suffering yesterday did finally cease, and to my amazement, the floors were all vacuumed, the beds were finally covered in clean sheets, and all 7, yes I said SEVEN loads of vacation laundry were washed, dried and put away.  Plus, I managed to cook some dinner, deleted my online games, and "cleaned house" on Facebook.  Which simply put, means I deleted over 400 people from my "friends" list. I also clipped 2 weeks worth of coupons, made my 2 week dinner plans, and my grocery list. So there ya have it.  OCD Lorrie found me, just in the nick of time.  Let's all have a collective sigh of relief... ahhhhh.  There ya go.  Now don't ya feel sooooo much better?

So, all that jabbering led up to today.  Today was my grocery day.  Those of y'all that know me personally, know that I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with Wal-Mart.  I love saving money, but OMG, I despise that place.  I wore my new T-shirt today.  

I consider it being "prepared".  See, with this T-shirt on, I don't HAVE to be nice if I don't want to, because my shirt has already warned you.  Think about it y'all.  It's WALMART.  And it's the first week of the month.  Around these parts, those two things do NOT make for a pleasant experience.  At least not usually.  However, DNK and I were able to get through our shopping no worse for the wear, and actually had a very pleasant lady check us out.  Not only did she smile, she spoke, laughed and did not once, intentionally smash any of my bread items!!!  I imagine she was either new to the the area, or on loan from the Walmart in Boone NC where I just got home from vacation, because she was MUCH too pleasant to be from around here.  Even though I was wearing my NOTSONICE  shirt, I was as nice as I could possibly be, and managed to get out of  there without either breaking the bank, or breaking anyone's neck.  That's saying a lot, cause have I mentioned that I REALLY HATE WAL-MART?  Thankfully, I won't have to go grocery shopping again for 2 whole weeks.  Hallelujah!!  =)
