{It's been a long LONG time....}

I started this blog almost 6 years ago, and for the longest time I blogged religiously. I used it as a sounding board, and a way to communicate with others.  But mostly, I did it for myself.  I'm not sure why I stopped blogging, except that sometimes, using a semi public forum to get things "off my chest" or to just gripe, didn't always have a good outcome.  But many times  blogging made me feel better, helped me heal, and got me through panic attacks and other issues in my life when there was just no one else to talk to. Blogging is a lot like talking to myself, and most of the time, I've found myself to be good company. =) Problem is, talking to oneself can cause others to question one's sanity.  Especially if I do so while walking around Walmart or some other public place. So, when I choose to be my own conversational partner, it would behoove me to do so in the form of a blog. Otherwise, I might find myself in a straight jacket and locked in a round padded room.  (Not that on occasion that wouldn't be a nice respite from "real" life.)  As much as I enjoyed blogging, it became a chore, in that I began to feel that I was having to filter what I was blogging about.  Was I going to offend a family member?  Would someone take what I had written in the wrong context?   Was anyone actually interested in what I had to say?  Did I really care??? ;-)  Sometimes I miss blogging.  Simple as that.  I might visit my old blog from time to time.  And I'm gonna say what's on my mind when I do, because it's MY blog. If you don't like what I write about, then write your own blog. If something I say offends you, then do yourself a favor, and DON'T READ IT ANYMORE.... Cause the bottom line is when and if I blog, I do it for ME.
I'm supposed to be getting groceries this morning, and I think this blog MIGHT have been a  way of procrastinating. If that be the case, you can expect to see a new blog post every two weeks or so.. =)

I loved seeing you blog again. That's one of the downfalls of facebook- so many of my friends stopped blogging :(

I like reading your blog, so yes, you should blog more often! I agree that if you don't like what someone is writng on their own blog then you should not read. I love when I get comments arguing with me on my own blog. I'm all for a friendly debate, but to tell me I'm wrong for my own opinion is a little lame. Of course, in retrospect, most of those sort of comments are probably from my moronic ex-husband!
