{Much better.....}

Wow.  After my depressing post the night before last, I'm happy to report that after either going to church  Wednesday night, blogging to get things off my chest, or just having my hormones decide to level themselves off, I yesterday morning feeling so much better.  I'd been feeling pretty "low" since late Monday.  Sometimes it's only a day or so, sometimes more than a week.  Thankfully, my low this time was only a couple days.  It's just when I'm feeling low, I'm usually feeling LOW.  As you can imagine, it was nice to wake yesterday morning smiling.  Since yesterday was St. Patricks Day, and I like to cook meals that correspond to the holiday, last night's dinner fare was a new recipe for Irish Beef Stew (cooked with Guinness Stout) served over mashed potatoes and homemade Irish soda bread.  I baked a GREEN cake with green icing and green coconut for dessert.  Just the fact that I did those things, is proof positive that I'm feeling better.  Thank God!   Today's pictures are just  a couple taken with my phone yesterday.  The cute one that looks like an old timey Polaroid was taken using the Retro Camera app on my droid.  I love it.  =)
So, I wake up today, turn on my computer and my homepage is weather.com.  It tells me that today's HIGH is gonna be 78 degrees!  DID YOU SEE THAT? 78????  I just finished packing up a beach bag, my NOOK, a towel and my beach chair.  I threw on some shorts, flip flops, a tank top and my cute WDW pink ball cap with my hair in a pony.  I am going to go sit in the sand on the beach and read for a few hours.  Now that, my friend, is a PERFECT day.  I'm so ready to soak up some vitamin D.  I'm guessing that there will be a lot of people down at Buckroe Beach today enjoying the sun.  I remember taking DNK often in the spring when she was a toddler.  I have so many pictures of her playing in the sand and the surf early in the season.  Ahhh, those were the days! =)
Tonight is game night at church for the whole family, and I believe we're planning on going.... so it's gonna be a full, fun, wonderful day.  I'm so thankful to be feeling better.  =)  Now, if it would just hurry up and warm up so I can hit the beach!!!!!
